In many ways, the author’s blogging for the book Victorious Healing and Growth through God’s Grace represents so much what happens to us in life. The first blog post for the book occurred on August 9, 2016 and the last blog post was done on September 10, 2019; a three-year span.
Similarly, we at times start out on a journey with the intent to reach our destination by a given time, but we may finish much later than we had anticipated. At that point, we have the choice to either feel discouraged that we didn’t finish in or by the time that we had hoped, or we can be encouraged that we made it.
Philippians 1:6 also provides us with assurance, which says, ‘being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. We can be assured that God will finish the work He is doing in us.
Having persevered we would have learnt valuable lessons that can help us in other areas of our lives. Whatever we desire to achieve we have to do it in the context of the responsibilities associated with daily living and our daily interactions with others. And while we live and interact with each other, amidst the wrongs, setbacks and disappointments that we will face, we can choose to seek God centered solutions.
Thank you for joining us along this journey
