If we have been thirsty for an extended interval of time, we know that drinking water is the only solution to quench our thirst.  The water revitalizes us.  But for the sake of our health, it is best if we take in water daily and not wait to become dehydrated to run to the water.  Similarly, understanding the importance of being spiritually hydrated, let us be determined to stay connected to God and remain spiritually hydrated each day.

Each stage of growth and maturity has its share of challenges and hurdles to confront and overcome; lessons to learn; and knowledge to embrace and apply.  Thankfully, the Holy Spirit continues the process of cultivation in our lives, patiently bringing us in line with His standard of living.  And as He continues to work in us, we start to understand the rest that He wants to give to us.  Then we experience contentment because the fruit of the Spirit permeates every aspect of our lives.
