Seeking God’s Way

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me (Psalm 51:10)
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts (Psalm 139:23 KJV)

When Samuel was looking for a king, God advised Samuel not to look on the physical appearance of the individuals (1 Samuel 16:7); so Samuel depended on God to reveal His choice, and God chose David.  Later, David humbly asked God to reveal any issues in his character and to remove these defects.
Thankfully as we come to God with an attitude of submission and dependence, He also will help us to overcome our weaknesses.  Like Samuel, let us depend on God so that we can make good decisions.
